Kayaking Trips

Kayaking tripsKayaking trips are the best! When I was a senior in high school my best friend invited me on a trip to Mexico with her family over spring break. When we arrived in Baja we had a list of options for what we wanted to do over the next few days. Of course, my friend and I only wanted to lay out on the beach! Luckily, her dad had other plans. On the first morning there he took us down to the shore of a nearby beach. There we saw a line of long, narrow boats on the wet sand. We looked at each other and asked, “What’s this?” Her dad smiled, as he introduced us to David, our kayaking guide! For the next 5 days they were hard pressed to get us out of the water! By day 3 my friend and I were navigating our way around the coast of Baja! We loved the challenge of the water, the freedom of being far from the shore, but what really won us over was the school of blue whales we were almost close enough to reach out and touch! If you are thinking about taking any kayaking trips in the near future I highly recommend the experience! I’ve been an avid kayaker for 10 years now -- ever since that first kayaking trip. There are many destinations, and a lot of information out there. Kayakingtrips.info can drastically reduce any headaches when planning for either your first or 20th kayaking trip!

Kayaking is fun and safe when proper procedures are followed. As in any sport, you should always dress for the occasion. In cold waters always wear a dry suit.
